Pandemic. A poem by Dorothy Rossi

Statistics of the dead and sick do not begin to tell the story.
Each life is constructed much like a skyscraper.
On different floors are different people, experiences and opportunities.
Folks who once mattered.
Memories large and small.
Along with dreams both big and small.
Friendships endured and endearing.

Jobs held and some missions accomplished
Each floor has its own rhythm and flow.
Some are told with a happiness, others with tears.
Life is a journey that puts each of us center stage.
